Brett Lindsay enters his second season at the helm of the Regent University Baseball program. In the Royals, inaugural season, Lindsay led his team to 18 wins and a birth in the Coast-To-Coast Athletic Conference Semifinals. Regent finished 4th overall in the Conference while producing two First Team All-Conference Selections, Two Honorable Mentions All-Conference Selections and Two Conference All-Tournament Team Selections. In addition, Lindsay oversaw four players who finished in the Top 5 of various conference statistical categories and the program's first no hitter. As a team, the Royals were second in the Conference with a fielding percentage of .954, third in total runs (286) and third in RBI (239).
Before starting the Regent program, Lindsay was an Assistant Coach at UA-Rich Mountain where he was responsible for the outfielders and was the batting coach. In addition, he was heavily involved in recruiting and the implementation and execution of practice plans. Prior to his time in Arkansas, Lindsay was an assistant at his alma-mater Eastern Mennonite University and Christopher Newport University.
Prior to getting into coaching, Lindsay was a five-year starter at Eastern Mennonite University where he was named to the ODAC All-Conference second team on three separate occasions and in 2017-2018 he was named the athletic department's Male Athlete of the Year. This year he was also named to EMU's All-Decade team. In addition, Lindsay played summer collegiate baseball with the Charlottesville TomSox. Genesee Rapids and Niagara Power. After graduation, Lindsay continued his playing career overseas playing in Austria and the Czech Republic and then back in the States in New Mexico.
Lindsay holds a Bachelor's Degree in Recreation Leadership & Sports Management and a Graduate Certificate in Organizational Leadership from Eastern Mennonite University.
