Elizabeth City, NC - The Regent Royals women's volleyball team defeated Mid-Atlantic Christian University in straight sets (25-23, 25-11, 25-23) on Thursday, October 7th.

Royal Standouts-
Freshman Liane Johnson came up big for the Royals both offensively and defensively. She led all players with 24 digs and added five kills to round out her night.

After the big win Coach Totherow commented ' I am proud of how our team is embracing challenges and coming together to find ways to win."

The Royals are now 4-8 on the year and will look to keep up the momentum as they host Elizabeth City State University on Tuesday, October 19th.
