Purcellville, VA- The Regent Royals women's soccer team defeated Patrick Henry College 6-1 on Friday, October 1st. The Royals showed unselfish offensive play, with four players notching an assist and three players finding the back of the net. Ben Brayshaw (new interim head coach) picked up his first win at the helm.

Royal Standouts-
Senior Calli Wolfenden led the attack with three goals for her first hat trick of the year.
Graduate student Marelly Balentina made her return at goalkeeper and held Patrick Henry to one goal while finishing with seven saves on the day.

Game Notes-

The victory gives the Royals the season sweep over the Sentinels after defeating them earlier in the season 5-1.

Team Notes-

Women's soccer moves to 2-3 for the season and will be back on the pitch against Carolina University on October 9th.
