Women's Basketball Triumphs Over Patrick Henry

Purcellville, VA- The Regent Royals women's basketball picked up their first win of the season 79-27 against Patrick Henry College. The Royals put together a well-rounded attack that saw four of the five starters score in double digits while mixing in strong team defense to come away with a dominant win.
Royals Standouts -
Freshman Jada Knox scored a game-high 23 points and dished out seven assists. She also proved to be a crafty defender coming away with nine steals on the night.
Senior Kylie Mclendon had a career night with 17 points on 8-14 shooting from the floor while snagging seven rebounds.
Game Notes-
With tonight's victory, first-year Head Coach Brian Wilson notches his first career collegiate win.  After the game, Coach Wilson commented, "I'm grateful and so thankful to God for placing me in a position to do what I love to do, Coach Basketball at the college level, at Regent University, but I'm more grateful for the opportunity for my girls to experience success."
Team Notes-
The Royals are now 1-2 on the year and will look to pick up the season split against Greensboro College on November 23rd.
