Virginia Beach, VA-The Regent Royals men's basketball team defeated Greensboro College by a score of 58-55 on Saturday, November 6th. The Royals controlled much of the game, leading by as much as 14, then withstood a strong second half comeback from Greensboro to secure the win. The Regent men were clutch down the stretch, shooting 5-6 from the line to put the game away.


Royals Standouts - 
Senior Tre Holland played a strong all-around game leading the team with 16 points while adding six boards and five assists.
Junior Stanley Adjei came up big off the bench for the Royals, knocking down three timely threes while snagging seven boards.

Team Notes- 
The Royals improve to 1-1 for the season. Saturday's victory marks the first win against Greensboro College in Royals athletic program history. The Regent men begin a stretch before Thanksgiving that will see them play five NCAA Division 1 schools in less than two weeks. The Royals head to Washington D.C to take on Howard University on Wednesday, November 10th, then head to Liberty University on November 11th to take on the nationally-recognized Flames in the new Liberty
