Grove City, PA - The Regent Royals Women's Volleyball team won in four sets (15-25, 25-15, 25-20, 26-24 ) against La Roche University on Saturday, September 11th. After dropping the first set, the Royals found a rhythm, winning three straight to claim their first victory of the season.
Royal Standouts -
Sophomore Emily Spier had a huge day for the Royals totaling 20 assists and one ace for the game. Emily now leads the team with 41 assists on the season.
Senior Sarah Jordan did a little bit of everything, leading the team in both digs and aces while also adding three blocks.
Redhawk Standouts -
Lauren Tomasko helped keep the pace for La Roche University, leading the team with ten kills for the game.

Head Coach Katelyn Totherow picked up her first career win as head coach of the Regent Royals.

The Royals are now 1-3 on the year and will travel to Elizabeth City State University on Wednesday, September 15th, to take on the Vikings.
