Washington D.C: The Regent Royals women's volleyball team won in straight sets (25-19, 25-12. 25-12) against Trinity-Washington University. After winning a closely contested first set, the Royals opened the second set on an 8-0 run and never looked back. They would go on to dominate the rest of the match, holding Trinity to just eight kills over the final two sets.

Royal Standouts - 

Freshman Grace Bickley continued her offensive tear, leading the Royals with six kills on an impressive 444 hitting percentage.
Sophomore Emily Spier played a considerable role in keeping the momentum in the Royal's favor. She finished the game with five aces, including four straight in the second set to jump-start a Regent run. 

Trinity Standouts -Darah Colbert led Trinty in points with six kills for the game. 

Team Notes-
The Royals pick up their second win of the season and are now 2-5. They will have a week off before heading to Emory and Henry College to participate in the Wasps Classic on October 1st and 2nd.
