Virginia Beach, VA - The Regent Royals women's soccer team defeated Patrick Henry College 5 -1 on Friday, September 3rd. The Royals showed a mix of strong defensive play and a balanced scoring attack in their first win of the year. 

Royals Standouts
Sophomore Kaitlyn Cassity led the offensive attack with a game-high three goals.
Sophmore Jacubline Rasmussen and Junior Kelsey Goodson anchored the Royal's defense throughout the match. Their tough and relentless efforts were crucial in holding Patrick Henry to just four shots and one goal. 

Sentinels Standouts
Cana Cassin stood out with her skilled play on the offensive end, scoring one goal on two shots.

The Regent Royals women's soccer team moves to 1-1 and will head North Carolina Wesleyan College on September 4th for their next competition.
