Norfolk, VA - The Regent Royals women's volleyball team hosted the program's first tri-match this past Friday, October 14, against Washington Adventist University and Carolina University.
Game 1
In their first game of the day, the Royals lost a thrilling five-set match against Washington Adventist (25-20, 26-28, 18-25, 25-9, 11-15). After falling behind two sets to one, the Royals dominated the fourth set to force a fifth but couldn't hold on to an early lead to secure the win.

Sophomore Jordan Banister found multiple ways to score for the Royals coming away with 15 kills while adding two aces.
Game 2
In their final matchup of the day, the Royals fell to Carolina University in straight sets (11-25, 18-25, 10-25).

Freshman Nicole Walston led the Royals against a stingy Bruins defense, finishing with a team-high seven kills.
