Virginia Beach, VA - The Regent Royals men's basketball team defeated Christendom College in their home opener 75 - 59 on Friday, December 2. Coming out of the half down eight, the Royals responded right away with an 11 -2 run to take the lead and continued to dominate on offense throughout the period shooting 80 % from three to put the game out of reach. 

Royals Standouts -
Graduate Student Stanley Adjei gave the Royals attack a massive lift in the second half, outscoring the Crusaders 20 to 19 on his way to a game-high 27 points. 
Freshman Darrin Clark proved the steady hand for Regent on both ends of the floor, scoring 16 points on 7-12 shooting while adding six steals on the night. 

Team Notes -
The Royals move to 1-3 on the season and will travel to Coastal Carolina University for an exhibition game against Chanticleers on Saturday, December 10 at 2:00 PM.
