Portsmouth, VA - The Regent Royals men's basketball team lost to Johnson & Wales University 66-55 on Saturday, February 5th. The Royals fought hard in a tightly contested matchup cutting the lead to as little as two in the second, but the Wildcats held on to the lead thanks to some timely shooting throughout the half.

Royals Standouts-
Senior Damon Hammack-Fitzgerald dominated the glass pulling in a game-high 14 boards to account for half of the team's rebounds. He also added six points on 3-6 shooting for the game.
Senior Drew Aiken had the hot hand for the Royals knocking down 4-7 from deep to finish with a team-high 16 points.

Game Notes-
The Royals will travel to Johnson & Wales University on Friday, February 11th, for the back half of a home and away with the Wildcats.
