Staunton, VA - The Regent Royals women's volleyball team beat Mary Baldwin College three sets to one (25-15, 18-25, 25-20, 25-13) on Friday, September 16. After Mary Baldwin tied it up with a second-set win, the Royals rallied to take a tightly contested third and were able to keep the momentum going to dominate the fourth to secure the win.
Royal Standouts -
Sophomore Jordan Banister had an outstanding game for the Royals, accounting for 23 of her team's 53 points scored. She finished the day with 13 kills, a game-high seven aces, and four blocks.
Freshman Makayla Daniels continued to show her skill as a setter finishing the match with 27 assists. She also added two aces, putting her number one in the NCCAA for aces per set with a 1.0 avg/set.

The Royals move 3-1 on the season and will head to Randolph College on Saturday, September 17, for a tri-match with the hosting Wildcats and Johnson & Wales University.
