Norfolk, VA - The Regent Royals women's soccer team won 3-1 over Patrick Henry College on Monday, September 5. The Royals scored an early goal at the two-minute mark and kept up the offensive charge throughout the match. Using a well-balanced and aggressive attack, Regent maintained offensive position for the majority of the game, adding two more goals on a total of 15 shots.
Royal Standouts -
Junior Morgan Mannix scored the Royal's first goal of the season on an assist from Phoebe Lotz just two minutes into the game. Morgan continued to pressure Patrick Henry's defense throughout the match, finishing the day with four shots on goal.

On the team's first victory, Coach Moorehead said, "The team worked hard to have a different mindset and mentality when coming onto the field today. They started coming together more as a unit by passing and talking more to achieve their goals. "
