Virginia Beach, VA - The Regent Royals men's basketball team lost 80-70 to Mid-Atlantic Christian University on January 24. After a tightly contested first half left the Royals down three, Regent responded with a quick run propelled by an aggressive defensive attack to take the lead. The Royals pushed the lead to five before the Mustangs responded with a run of their own to put the game out of reach.
Royals Standouts -
Grad student Stanley Adjei notched another double-double, finishing with a game-high 20 points while adding ten rebounds and four steals.
Junior Michael Burkett found his shooting rhythm in the second period, going three of six from deep to finish with 11 points and four rebounds.

The Royals are now 1-9 on the season and will take on NCAA Division I University Maryland Eastern Shore on Thursday, February 2, at 7:00 PM.
