Box Score 2 Winston-Salem, NC - As the season begins to come to an end, the Regent University Volleyball team traveled to North Carolina for a tri-match with fellow NCCAA members Carolina University and Bob Jones University. It would be an afternoon of back-and-forth points that would test all teams involved.
Game One
The first set began with both teams scoring points and it was suddenly tied at 5-5. However, the Bruins would gain same control and go ahead by three points. The Royals held strong and made their way back behind kills from Sophomore
Nicole Walston (Wake Forest, NC) and Junior
Jordan Banister (Chesapeake, VA) but ultimately fell 25-15. In the second set, though, Regent kept their composure and earned a hard fought win 25-17. The third set saw the Royals fall behind early 8-3, but they fought hard to get back in it, however fell 25-21. Regent dominated most of the fourth set but were unable to force a fifth and deciding one falling 26-24, for the overall decision of 3-1.

Game Two
The other Bruins squad they would face on the day took the first set 25-10, The Royals played well in the second set but Bob Jones was able to come away with the win, 25-16. In the third, and what would be the final set, Regent continued to play strong, but dropped it by a score of 25-9, for the defeat, 3-0.

The Royals will be back in action for their final regular season weekend as they host a tri-match with Randolph College and Clinton College on Saturday, November 4th at Norfolk Christian. First serve is scheduled for 12:00pm.
