Virginia Beach, VA - It has been an historic season for the Regent University Men's Soccer team as they have tied their record for the most wins in a single season and have produced a number of individual national statistical leaders. However, on Friday, they had some unfinished business as they hosted Carolina University in their final game of the 2023 season. Head Coach Samuel Okai and the Royals were looking to end on a high note that would carry over into the off season.
Unfortunately, the game would not go the way Regent had hoped, with the Bruins controlling the tempo to come away with a victory 5-0. Regent was led by Sophomore
Graylan Gill (Hanover, VA) who finished teh game with 3 shots and 1 on goal, while Sophomore
John Morrison (St. Inigoes, MD) recorded 5 saves. While the season has come to an end, Coach Okai believes he has a solid foundation to continue to build the team into a national competitor, With his imcoming recruting class and the returning players, the Royals will be back competing and looking to make history again next season.
