Winchester, VA - The Regent Universty Men's Basketball team continued their road trip with a game Friday night against Shenandoah University. It was a packed house, but the Royals came out strong in the first half to prove that they can play with their Division III opponent, While it was not the outcome they had hoped for, Regent left the court with their heads held high and knew that they could carry their momentum into their next games.
The Royals were led by Junior
Joakim Marie-Jospeh (Saint Martin, VI) who finished with 12 points and 5 rebounds, while fellow Junior
Matthew Mealy (Chesapeake, VA) added 10 points, while going 5-7 from the floor. In addition, Freshman
Marion Brown (Chesapeake, VA) finished the game with 9 points and 2 rebounds. Regent will return to action on Saturday, November 11th as they stay on the road to face the University of Lyncburg. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:00pm.
