Kissimmee, FL - On Tuesday, the Regent University Women's Soccer team played their second game of pool play in the NCCAA National Tournament. It was another opportunity for the Royals to gain valuable experience against one of the top teams in the country. Playing in the tournament has allowed the young Regent team to continue to improve on what has already been on of their best seasons in program history. Unfortunately, the outcome against Southwestern Assemblies of God University was not what the Royals had hoped for, but they walked of the field with their heads held high knowing that they have laid the foundation for next season.
It was a year that saw five student-athletes earn All-Region honors and one that saw Freshman
Olivia Charles (Barboursville, WV) set the program's single game scoring record. With the young group of players returning next year, Regent will look to get back to the National Tournament and prove that they are among the best in the NCCAA. Â
