Virginia Beach, VA - The Regent Royals women's basketball team won their season finale 64 - 56 over Trinity Washington on Tuesday, February 21. The Royals' offense was firing on all cylinders as the team used a 25-point second quarter to take a sizable lead into the break. The Royals' defense stepped up in the second half to hold off a late Trinity run and hang on for the win.
Royals Standouts -
Senior Brooke Glisson added another double-double to her resume finishing with 18 points and a game-high 11 rebounds.
Sophomore Desiree Cross helped carry the Royals' offense in the second half scoring 13 of her team-high points in the closing two periods.

Prior to the game, Regent Athletics honored Senior Brooke Glisson with a brief ceremony to celebrate her accomplishment as a Royal. Brooke has been an anchor of the Royals front court since joining the team in 2019, having recorded six doubles-doubles over her career. Brooke scored a career-high 33 points this past Tuesday, February 14, against Mid-Atlantic Christian and, in doing so, set the new single-game scoring record by a Regent University basketball player.
