Norfolk, VA - The Regent University Women's Soccer team hosted Mary Baldwin University in the second game of their three game home-stand on Wednesday night. The Royals were looking to continue their momentum from Monday night's win and the Fighting Squirrels were searching for their first win of the season. A record crowd would turnout at Norfolk Christian for the match-up, but as the clock hit zero Regent would fall by a final score of 3-1.
The Royals were led by Junior
Marissa Crawley (Charlotte, NC) who finished the game with two shots on goal and Sophomore Goalie
Kristen Miller (Peoria, AZ) who turned away five shots. Regent will conclude their home-stand on Saturday, September 7th when they host Pfieffer University as a part of a doubleheader. Kick-off is scheduled for 3:30pm
