Petersburg, VA – After a history making weekend last Friday, the Regent University Men's and Women's Cross Country teams looked to carry that momentum into today's Virginia State University XC Challenge. The Royals were very familiar with this particular course and with only a few weeks until the Coast-To-Coast Athletic Conference tournament in California, they were looking to improve on their scores and rankings. As they have done all season, Regent turned in outstanding performances with the Women producing a third-place team finish as two runners finished in the top 15 and four in the top 20. In addition, the Men earned a fourth-place finish, while also producing two top 15 individual finishes.
