Virginia Beach, VA - Last week's snow storm forced the Regent University Women's Basketball team to postponed their Senior Night game against Clinton College. However, the snow finally melted and on Tuesday Night the Royals were able to honor their three Seniors and thank them for the dedication and hard work they have given to the program. Regent would give the Bears everything they had and even led going into the locker room at the half. However, Clinton would comeback in the second half and ultimately the Royals would fall by a final score of 81-56.

Courtney Rowley (Lusk, WY) left it all on the court, finishing with 25 points, while tying her career high six three-pointers. In addition, Sophomore
My'Angel Carter (Toccoa, GA) added 11 points to go along with her 3 blocks.
While tonight concluded the season for Regent, the Athletic Department and Coaching Staff would like to acknowledge Rowley, Senior
Lyriq Reyes (Bogota, NJ) and Senior
Oghosasse Osadiaye (Marion, MI) for all of their accomplishments both on and off the court.
Osadiaye, from Marion, MI has played a pivotal role in the success of both the Women's Soccer and Women's Basketball programs. She is best known for her ability to draw an offensive charge and has been credited for many of those call this season. During her career at Regent Ogho has averaged 5 rebounds per game with her career high of 10 in a game this season against Carolina University. In addition to her basketball career, Ogho is also a goalie on the Women's Soccer and was named to the NCCAA All-South Region Second Team this past season. Off the court, Ogho assists her sister's business, while also volunteering as a coach in the springtime. She will graduate this Spring with a degree in Law and National Security and plans to work for the Department of Homeland Security and contribute to their Center for Countering Human Trafficking where she hopes to make a meaningful impact on this critical issue.
Reyes, from Bogota, NJ is averaging six points per game and is currently second on the team in assists. This season Reyes achieved a career high of 19 points in a game against Warren Wilson College, where she also finished a perfect 9-9 from the free throw line. In addition, she had a season high 5 assists against USC-Beaufort and 4 steals against Christendom College. Reyes is also third on the team in total minutes played as the point guard for the Royals. Off the court, Reyes enjoys playing video games, being the life of the party and enjoys the Arts, Fashion, Promoting and Reading. She also helps coaching her Dad's AAU team, while also helping to promote her Uncle's Shop "Cake Man Raven" in Harlem, NY and her other Uncle's car dealership "AA Discount Auto Sales" in Bergenfield, NJ. She will graduate this Spring with a degree in Business Management and Sports Management and plans to pursue a Masters in Athletic Training and Digital Media. She also hopes to become an assistant coach for a college team back in her hometown. s.
Rowley, from Lusk, WY has had one of the best careers of anyone to wear a Royals Uniform. She will leave Regent as the School's All-Time Assist Leader and is 2nd in all-time rebounds, three-pointers and steals and 3rd all-time. This season Courtney has scored over 20 points in 5 games and has made a total of 48 three-pointers. In addition, she is currently ranked second Nationally in overall minutes per game averaging 38.3. and leads the team in defensive rebounds with 103. Courtney had a career best game this year against Warren Wilson College where she scored 27 points, which included 6 three-pointers. Courtney is pursuing a degree in Elementary Education and wants to have a positive impact on adolescents and better our future generations through positive and inspiring leadership.
