Norfolk, VA - On Tuesday afternoon, the Regent University Men's Volleyball team rallied from a two set deficit to force a fourth but eventually fell to visiting Bluefield University by a final score of 3-1 The match saw both teams trade points for the first two sets, with the Rams prevailing 25-20 and 25-23. However, in the third set the Royals were able to fight off a match point and then take a one point lead. On the next play, Graduate Student
Jaxson Gray (Chesapeake, VA) came up with a huge block to earn the point and win the 27-25. Unfortunately, they were unable to carry the momentum over to the fourth and Regent would fall 25-14.

Aaron Campbell (Virginia Beach, VA) led the Royals with 18 kills and 13 digs, while fellow Graduate Student
Colby Yawn (Chesapeake, VA) finished with 13 kills and 9 assists. In addition, Sophomore
Ariel Downer (Spring Lake, NC) had his second best game of the season recording 17 digs and Junior
Aubrey Flora (Chesapeake, VA) dished out a team high 14 assists.
Regent will be back in action on Saturday, March 8th when they travel north to Glenside, Pennsylvania for a tri-match with Hood College and Arcadia University. First serve is scheduled for 1:00pm and 3:00pm.
