Purcellville, VA - The Regent Royals men's basketball won 72-48 over Patrick Henry College on Wednesday, November 17th. The Royals found their rhythm early, grabbing the lead on their first possession and did not look back. They thrived throughout the game with intelligent and unselfish basketball, closing the night with 19 assists on 31 field goals.
Royals Standouts -
Junior Markell Riggins was highly efficient on the offensive end, mixing in jumpers and drives to finish with 15 points on 6-8 shooting.
Junior Joakim Marie-Joseph had one of his best all-around games of the season, scoring 15 points while snagging six boards and dishing out five assists.
Team Notes-
The Royals are 2-5 and will have the weekend off before picking back up against local NCAA Division I opponent Norfolk State University.
