Norfolk, VA- The Regent Royals Men's Basketball team lost to Norfolk State University 95- 20 on Tuesday, November 23rd. The Royals opened the game with great defensive intensity holding NSU to just 12 points in the opening 10 minutes but were unable to find an offensive rhythm to match the Spartan's attack.
Royals Standouts -
Junior Joakim Marie-Joseph battled relentlessly in the paint throughout the game leading the Royals with eight points while bringing in six rebounds.
Team Notes-
After a challenging road stretch in which the Royals played five NCAA Division I opponents, the team will have a short break before opening conference play against Mid-Atlantic Christian University on December 7th.
