Elizabeth City, NC - The Regent Royals women's basketball team fell 57-49 to Mid-Atlantic Christian on Tuesday, December 7th. The Royals fought hard in a closely contested match, making a late push in the fourth quarter to cut the lead to 5 with under two minutes, but timely free throws from the Mustangs would put the game out of reach.

Royals Standouts-
Junior Kali Murrell led all scorers with 27 points while going 8-9 from the free-throw line and adding five rebounds.

Junior Brooke Glisson dominated the glass throughout the game bringing in 15 rebounds while adding nine points.

Team Notes -
The Royals are now 1-5 on the year and 0-1 in conference play and will look to bounce back against Virginia Wesleyan University on Friday, December 10th.
