Virginia Beach, VA- The Regent Royals Women's soccer team lost to Bob Jones University 6-1 on Tuesday, September 14th. The Royals got off to a hot start scoring in the second minute of the game, but the Bruins responded with six unanswered goals to put the game out of reach.

Royals Standouts
Sophomore Kaitlyn Cassity had another strong game for the Royals finishing with five shots and one goal. She now leads the team with four goals on the year.
Sophomore Morgan Mannix played an impressive game at mid-field finding ways to impact the game on both sides of the ball. Her aggressive play on offense led to five shots, while defensively, she helped contain the Bruins attack.

Bruins Standouts
Susie VanDoodewaard had a game-high two goals on the night.

Team Notes- The Royals are now 1-3 on the year and will travel to Mary Baldwin University on September 24th to take on the Fighting Squirrels.
