Front Royal, VA- The Regent Royals men's basketball team defeated Christendom College 64-60 on Tuesday, February 15th. The game was a tightly contested matchup, with both teams battling hard and exchanging the lead multiple times in the second half. With just over a minute to go and the Royals holding on to a one-point lead, the defense came up clutch with two big-time stops while guard Kris Smith went 3-4 from the line to seal the game.
Royals Standouts-
Senior Kris Smith came off the bench to help lead the Royal's to victory, finishing with a game-high 21 points on 60% shooting.
Senior Stanley Adjei played one of his most decisive games of the year, attacking the Crusader defense at every opportunity to end the night with 17 points and seven rebounds.

 Coach Botta was proud of the way his team ended the game, saying, "the guys played to win and finished the game with confidence."

The Royals move to 4-12 on the season and will be back in action against conference foe Newport News Apprentice School on Thursday, February 17th.
