Newport News, VA - The Regent Royals men's basketball team fell 80- 66 to Newport News Apprentice in the semifinal game of the EMAC tournament on Thursday, February 24th.

Royals Standouts -
Junior Khalil Waleed was impressive off the bench to lead the team in scoring with 12 points on the game while adding in four rebounds.
Sophomore Michael Burkett gave the Royals a needed scoring boost going 2-3 from deep to finish with 9 points for the night.

Team Notes -
The Royals will have a week off as they prepare to make one final run at their first-ever NCCAA South Regional Tournament held at Paine College in Augusta, GA.
