Ferrum, VA - The Regent Royals men's basketball team lost 75-70 to Ferrum College on January 7. In a tightly contested game that saw ten lead changes, the Royals battled to make it a two-point game with under 30 seconds remaining before timely free throw shooting from the Panthers put the game out of reach. 

Royals Standouts -
Grad student Andrew Walston gave the Royals a nice scoring boost mixing in some clutch shooting with aggressive drives to the basket to finish with 16 points. 
Grad student - Stanley Adjei led the Royals in scoring for the second consecutive game to finish with 17 points while going 7-7 from the free throw line. 

Team Notes -
The Royals are now 1-7 on the season and will have a brief break before traveling to Winston-Salem, NC, to take on Carolina University on Friday, January 13 at 7:00 PM.
