Virginia Beach, VA - The Regent Royals men's basketball team lost 61-54 to Penn State Wilkes-Barre on January 5. After a slow start that sent Regent into half-time down ten, the Royals picked up the defensive pressure to cut the lead to just two with under four minutes to play, but PSWB responded with timely shot-making to close the game out.
Royals Standouts -
Grad student Stanley Adjei continued to lead the Royal's offense pouring in a game-high 23 points and adding ten rebounds to notch his first double-double of the season.
Freshman Darrin Clark was aggressive on both sides of the ball, attacking the basket constantly to come away with 14 points, while his consistent ball pressure led to three steals on the night.

The Royals are now 1-6 on the season and will travel to Ferrum College this Saturday, January 7, to take on the Panthers at 4:00 PM.
