Norfolk, VA – On Wednesday evening the Regent University Men's Soccer team hosted NCAA Division III and USA South member Methodist University under the lights. The Royals began the season winning their first two games, but had dropped their previous few and were looking to get back in the win column against the Monarchs. Unfortunately, they would get behind early and fall by a score of 3-0.  

The first half saw Methodist score two quick goals and then they would add another before the half came to an end. In the second half, Regent was able to create some scoring opportunities and Freshman Connor Henriques (Spotsylvania, VA) held strong in the goal to keep the Monarchs scoreless in the final 45 minutes.  

The Royals will be back in action on Monday, September 25th as they travel to Buena Vista, VA to face Southern Virginia University. Kick-off is scheduled for 5:00pm.
