Misenheimer, NC – After a long drive from route 58 to I-85, the Regent University Women's Soccer team arrived outside of Salisbury, NC to face NCAA Division III and USA South member Pfeiffer University on Wednesday afternoon. The Royals were coming off a tough loss to another USA member last week and they were looking to bounce back against a tough Falcons team.  Regent would come out strong and hold tight on defense and as the final horn sounded they would earn the hard fought tie with Pfeiffer, 0-0.

Freshman Olivia Charles (Barboursville, WV) led the Royals offensively with 7 total shots, while Sophomore Avery Bravo (Victorville, CA) added two of her own.  In goal, Freshmen Kristen MIller (Peoria, AZ) and Gracie Madden (Ashland, KY) recorded a combined six saves and did not allow a goal.  As a team, Regent had six corner kicks and forced eight offside calls on the Falcons.

The Royals will be back in action on Saturday, September 30th when they host Trinity Washington University at Norfolk Christian.  Kick-off is scheduled for 7:00pm.
