Salisbury, MD – The Regent University Women's Soccer team continued its six-game road trip on Saturday as they faced off against Salisbury University. It would be a game that saw the Royals hold their own against the Seagulls, while Sophomore Kristen Miller (Peoria, AZ) set a collegiate career high with a total of 17 saves. However, Regent was unable to come away with the win, falling by a final score of 3-0.
Sophomore Anna Teague (Salisbury, NC) led the Royals with two shots, while Freshman Jordana Foose (Chesterfield, VA) had a shot on goal. As a team, Regent's defense was able to contest a number of Salisbury runs.
The Royals will have a quick turnaround when they travel to Petersburg on Monday, Oct. 14th for a match-up with Virginia State University. Kick-off is scheduled for 4:00pm.
