Ferrum, VA - On Wednesday afternoon, the Regent University Women's Soccer team traveled west to face NCAA DIII and ODAC member Ferrum College. It was the Royals first game action since September 18th and they were anxious to get back on the field. They would face a Panthers team that was undefeated on the season and only giving up an average of one goal per game.
Regent fell behind early, but they did not let up on trying to create scoring opportunities. Sophomore
Rhyan Primmer (Stafford, VA) attempted to capitalize on one of those chances, but was unable to connect on it. Unfortunately, the Royals could not mount a comeback and would fall by a final score of 5-0.
Sophomore
Kristen Miller (Phoenix, AZ) finished the game in goal with nine saves after facing 14 shots on goal.
Regent will be back in action on Saturday, October 5th when they travel to the nation's capital for a match-up with Trinity Washington University. Kick-off is scheduled for 4:00pm.
