Royals Tie Program Scoring Record In Win Over Trinity Washington, 14-0

Washington, DC - On Saturday afternoon, the Regent University Women's Soccer Team made a trip to our Nation's Capital to face a familiar foe in Trinity Washington University.  The Royals were looking to get back into the win column and create momentum, as they begin the second half of their season.  The trip would turn out to be historic as Regent's offense come alive to tie a program scoring record, defeating the Tigers by a final score of 14-0.

Junior Marissa Crawley (Charlotte, NC) led the Royals with four goals, while Senior Audrey Martiny (New Orleans, LA) and Freshman Jordana Foose (Chesterfield, VA) scored three goals a piece.  In addition, Sophomore Anna Teague (Salisbury, NC) finished the game with two goals and fellow Sophomores Sierra Smullen (Snow Hill, MD) and Rhyan Primmer (Stafford, VA) each added a goal.  As a team, Regent attempted 31 shots, while Senior Ohgosasse Osadiaye (Marion, MI) and Sophomore Ashli Perez (Virginia Beach, VA) combined for the shutout in goal.

The Royals will be back in action on Saturday, October 12th when they travel to Maryland to face Salisbury University.  Kick-off is scheduled for 3:00pm.
