Norfolk, VA – As the Regent University Women's Soccer team played their final home game of the season, on Saturday afternoon against Carolina University, they honored their two Seniors as it would be the last time they put on a Royals uniform in front of the home fans. While the outcome was not what Regent had hoped for, a loss to the Bruins 4-0, they were happy to be able display their talents one more time at home.
Oghosasse Osadiaye
Osadiaye, from Marion, MI, has appeared in 25 games during her playing career at Regent, while logging 597 minutes on the pitch. In goal, Ohgo is credited with two shutouts this season. During the spring, Ohgo takes on the role of coach and most recently worked at a soccer camp where she led her team to the Championship, showcasing her ability to inspire and achieve results. Her favorite memory with the Royals was during pre-season this year at practice when it was pouring rain. She loved it because it was one of the first times the team just let loose and had fun. Ohgo will graduate with a degree in Law & National Security and plans to work at a local police station while pursuing a Master's Degree. Her long-term goal is to apply to the Department of Homeland Security and contribute to their Center for Countering Human Trafficking.
