Laurinburg, NC - The Regent University Men's Soccer team continued their two game road trip as they faced Saint Andrews University on Saturday afternoon in North Carolina.  The two teams met last year in Norfolk, with the Knights winning, but the Royals were coming in with the momentum from Friday night's victory.  Today's game would be a test for Regent as the Knights have a roster with a number of experienced upperclassmen.   However, the Royals were looking to make it two wins in a row on the weekend, as they grabbed they grabbed the early momentum when Freshmen Isaiah Morris (Harrionsburg, VA) sent in a cross that was deflected into the goal by a Saint Andrews player.  Unfortunately, that was the only scoring Regent would produce and they ultimately fell by a final score of 3-1.

The Royals finished the game with five shots, while attempting four corner kicks.  In addition, Sophomore Goalie Conner Henriques (Spotsylvania, VA) recorded a total of six saves on the day.  Regent will return to action on Tuesday, August 27th as they travel to Petersburg, VA to face Virginia State University.  Kick-off is scheduled for 5:00pm.
