Norfolk, VA - It's hard to believe that the Regent University Women's Soccer team played their second to last home game of the season on Saturday afternoon. However, before they could think about the long stretch of road games, the Royals hosted Randolph College out of the ODAC. It was a windy day but that did not prevent a good size crowd from coming out to the game to see the teams battle it out for 90 minutes. While, Regent created some good scoring chances, they would fall to the Wildcats by a final score of 3-0.
Sophomore
Rhyan Primmer (Stafford, VA) led the Royals with two shots, while Sophomore Goalie
Kristen Miller (Peoria, AZ) was able to turn away six shots on goal. As a team, Regent finished the game with eight shots, while attempting three corner kicks.
The Royals will hit the road for the next six games beginning Wednesday, September 18th at Greensboro College. Kick-off is scheduled for 3:00pm.
