Greensboro, NC - A mid-week match up saw the Regent University Women's Soccer team, once again, face a team from the USA South Conference. Wednesday's opponent was Greensboro College, who the Royals are no strangers to. Today's game was a return contest, as the Pride visited Hampton Roads last season. Greensboro put points on the board first and, despite a Regent goal, the Royals were not able to come home with the win, falling by a final score of 6-1.

Marissa Crawley (Charlotte, NC), who was only about 90 miles from her hometown, scored the goal for Regent at the 76:10 mark of the game. In addition, as a team, the Royals tallied a total of seven shots, while attempting 2 corner kicks.
Regent will be back in action on Wednesday, October 2nd, when they travel to Ferrum College. Kick-off is scheduled for 4:00pm.
