Virginia Beach, VA – The Regent University Men's Volleyball team has announced its 2027 schedule, featuring matches against regional opponents as the Royals begin a new chapter under first-year Head Coach Taylor Dafoe.  The schedule includes match-ups across Virginia, North Carolina, Maryland, and Pennsylvania, giving the Royals a number of opportunities throughout the season.

Regent is scheduled to open its season on Jan 16 on the road in Salem, VA against Roanoke University and Carolina University, before heading to Randolph-Macon College on Jan. 21 and William Peace University on Jan. 23.

The Royals will continue their January schedule with road contests at William Peace University and Eastern Mennonite University in Raleigh, N.C., before returning to Virginia for matches against Batten University and Bridgewater College. Regent will also face Randolph College, Shenandoah University, Hood College, and Cairn University as the early-season schedule progresses.

February will feature additional opportunities for the Royals to test themselves against quality competition, including match-ups with Roanoke University, Warren Wilson College, and Averett University.

One of the highlights of the season will come on Feb. 27, when Regent hosts William Peace University for Senior Night. The 1:00 PM match-up will give the Royals an opportunity to recognize their senior student-athletes while competing in front of the home crowd.

The schedule continues into March with contests against Immaculata University, Eastern University, Misericordia University, and Gallaudet University. Regent will then close out its regular-season slate with matches against Southern Virginia University and Stevenson University on March 27, followed by a pair of contests against Shenandoah University and Eastern Mennonite University on April 3.
