Boone, NC – In their final Meet before next week's Coast-To-Coast Athletic Conference Championships, the Regent University Women's Track & Field team participated in the John Weaver Invitational at Appalachian State University. As they have done all season, the Royals came away from the events, breaking two more School records, while setting numerous Personal Records. The official results are below.
Women's 100m
Freshman Elizabeth Olojo (Hanover, MD) ran a time of 14.04 seconds
Senior Shylah Wells (Youngsville, NC) set a Personal Record with a time of 14.06 seconds
Sophomore Jordana Foose (Chesterfield, VA) finished with a time of 14.68 seconds
Freshman Daria Easton had a Personal Record time of 15.17 seconds
Women's 100m Hurdles
Junior Kristi Moser (Indian Trial. NC) qualified for the Finals and finished 4th overall with a time of 15.73 seconds
Women's 400m
Freshman Gabrielle Butler (New Kent VA) broke the School Record with a time of 1:00.70
Women's 800m
Freshman Louise Monga-Rochard (Toano, VA) ran a Personal Record of 2:34.12

Freshman Zacarah Hubbard (Virginia Beach, VA) had a throw of 25.46m
Senior LaTanya Hopkins (Virginia Beach, VA) threw a distance of 24.69m
Freshman Chloe Basnett (Columbus, OH) came in at 18.94m
Women's Long Jump
Junior Kristi Moser (Indian Trial. NC) broke the School Record with a jump of 5.01m
Senior Shylah Wells (Youngsville, NC) set a personal Record with a jump of 4.65m
Women's Shot Put
Freshman Mikaela Cole (Farmington, NY) led the way throwing 9.46m
Senior LaTanya Hopkins (Virginia Beach, VA) had a throw of 9.31m
Freshman Daesha Hill (Williamsburg, VA) finished with a throw of 9.14m
Freshman Zacarah Hubbard (Virginia Beach, VA) threw a distance of 8.33m
Women's 4x100m Relay
Barfield, Butler, Foose and Moser ran a time of 55.24 seconds
Regent will be back in action on Friday, May 1st when they begin the Conference Championships at the University of Mary Washington.
