Virginia Beach, VA – The Regent University Athletic Department and new head coach MaTia Hughes have announced the Royals' 2026 women's volleyball schedule, featuring a challenging slate of regional opponents, Coast-to-Coast Athletic Conference (C2C) match ups, and multiple tournament weekends as Regent prepares to improve on their historic program record season. 

The Royals will open the season on September 1st with a road conference match against Christopher Newport University in Newport News before traveling to North Carolina Wesleyan for a multi-match tournament weekend on September 4th-5th.  

Regent's 25-match schedule includes contests across Virginia, North Carolina, Georgia, Maryland, South Carolina, and Washington, D.C., providing the Royals with opportunities to compete against a diverse group of NCAA Division III programs.  

Regent will continue conference play with a road trip to Charlotte, North Carolina, where they face JWU-Charlotte on September 18th before taking on Warren Wilson College the following day in Swannanoa, North Carolina.  

Regent's home schedule features key match ups against St. Mary's College of Maryland (Sept. 28th), Trinity Washington University (Oct. 7th), Warren Wilson College (Oct. 9th), Mid-Atlantic Christian University (Oct. 20th), and Hollins University (Oct. 24th).  

Among the season highlights is a late-season conference showdown at Salisbury University on November 6th, a match that could have implications in the C2C standings heading into postseason play.  

The Royals will conclude the regular season with a tri-match hosted by Shenandoah University on November 7th before turning their attention to the Coast-to-Coast Athletic Conference Tournament, scheduled for November 13th-14th in Fredericksburg, Virginia.
