Greenville, SC - The National Christian Collegiate Athletic Association has announced that Regent University Volleyball student-athlete Freshman Ella Simone (El Paso, TX) has been named the National Offensive Volleyball Player of the Week.  She is the second Royal this year to receive this honor.  Over the weekend, Simone had her best performance of the season, dishing out 40 assists in a tough 5 set loss to NCAA Division III member Randolph College and added another 31 assists in a 3 set win over Clinton College.  In addition, she recorded a combined total of 35 total digs in the two matches.

The Regent University Athletic Department would like to congratulate Ella on receiving this award.
