Virginia Beach, VA – A new era has begun in the Regent University Men's Basketball program as first year Head Coach Spencer Beaty takes over the helm of the Royals. As the season approaches, Coach Beaty has officially released the team's 2024-2025 schedule, which includes a number of NCAA member schools, along with schools from the NCCAA. Beaty has made it a priority in increasing the competition and this season's schedule reflects that.
"We are excited about this year's schedule," said Coach Beaty. "First, our AD Michael Allen has worked extremely hard during the transition this spring to not only fill a full schedule, but also moving us in the direction that we need to be heading as far as scheduling NCAA D3 games. Without question, we will have our hands full each and every night, but we know we must face the giants if we want to understand what it takes to be at their level. With that being said, the coaching staff is working to instill a Championship DNA every day on and off the court so that we are able to approach each opponent with the mindset that we have worked to earn the right to be on the floor and compete at a high level."
