Columbia, SC – The Palmetto State was the site for the 2025 NCCAA Outdoor Track & Field National Championships. It was an opportunity for three Student-Athletes from the Regent University Men's and Women's Track & Field team to showcase their talents against some of the best in the nation. Thursday kicked off the two-day event as two Royals had a chance to compete.
Junior Kevin Cropper (Oak Hall, VA) began the day in the High Jump, which he also competed in last year. After clearing 1.90m he would conclude the event finishing 5th overall in a field that featured numerous returning participants. In the night cap, Freshman Sophia Moritz (Virginia Beach, VA) competed in the 100m Hurdles, where she would line up in Heat One of the preliminaries finishing 4th allowing her to move on to Friday's finals.
Regent will be back in action for Day Two on Friday, May 9th as all three will be in action beginning at 12:30pm.
