Jefferson City, TN – It was an historic day for the Regent University Beach Volleyball team as they competed for the first time as a program.  They kick-off off their inaugural season, and the weekend, at the Carson Newman Invitational where they faced the host Eagles and fellow Virginia school, the University of Lynchburg.   With most of the Royals playing during the indoor season, they were anxious to duplicate that success on the sand. 

Match One (Carson Newman) 

1. Sophomore Alaina Braun-Duin (Stephens City, VA) and Freshman Keira Anderson (Leland, NC) lost 21-12, 21-10 
2. Junior Erin Saunders (Danville, VA) and Freshman Rylee Stewart (Newport News, VA) lost 21-12, 21-10 
3. Freshman Daily Davis (Bristow, VA) and Freshman Reagan Holestin (Virginia Beach, VA) lost 21-4, 21-7 
4. Freshman Annalise Todd (Raleigh, NC) and Freshman Lexie Dennis (Newport News, VA) lost 21-7,21-4 
5. Freshman Brooklynn Delane (Colonial Beach, VA) and Freshman Emma Kristiansen (Sparta, NJ) lost 21-5, 21-4

Match Two (Lynchburg)
