Lynchburg, VA – It was an historic day for the Regent University Beach Volleyball team as two pairs earned the program's first ever wins.  The Royals had their busiest day of the season as they opened the University of Lynchburg Invitational with three consecutive matches.   

Game One vs Southern Virginia 

• Sophomore Alaina Braun-Duin (Stephens City, VA) and Freshman Keira Anderson (Leland, NC) won 16-21, 21-10, 15-13 

• Junior Erin Saunders (Danville, VA) and Freshman Rylee Stewart (Newport News, VA) won 21-18, 22-20 

• Freshman Daily Davis (Bristow, VA) and Freshman Reagan Holestin (Virginia Beach, VA) lost 21-6, 21-11  

• Freshman Annalise Todd (Raleigh, NC) and Senior Zoe Bowers (Buffalo, NY) lost 21-18, 21-10  

• Freshman Brooklynn Delane (Colonial Beach, VA) and Junior Anna Teague (Salisbury, NC)) fell in their match 21-13, 21-15 

Game Two vs Richard Bland 

• Sophomore Alaina Braun-Duin (Stephens City, VA) and Freshman Keira Anderson (Leland, NC) won 21-19, 21-14 

• Junior Erin Saunders (Danville, VA) and Freshman Rylee Stewart (Newport News, VA) lost 21-19, 17-21, 14-16 

• Freshman Daily Davis (Bristow, VA) and Freshman Reagan Holestin (Virginia Beach, VA) lost 21-14, 21-13  

• Freshman Annalise Todd (Raleigh, NC) and Senior Zoe Bowers (Buffalo, NY) lost 21-11, 21-13 

• Freshman Brooklynn Delane (Colonial Beach, VA) and Junior Anna Teague (Salisbury, NC)) fell in their match 21-17, 21-12 

Game Three vs Liberty 

• Sophomore Alaina Braun-Duin (Stephens City, VA) and Freshman Keira Anderson (Leland, NC) lost 21-12, 21-10 

• Junior Erin Saunders (Danville, VA) and Freshman Rylee Stewart (Newport News, VA) lost 21-18, 16-21, 9-15 

• Freshman Daily Davis (Bristow, VA) and Freshman Reagan Holestin (Virginia Beach, VA) lost 21-12, 21-15  

• Freshman Annalise Todd (Raleigh, NC) and Senior Zoe Bowers (Buffalo, NY) lost 21-18, 21-10  

• Freshman Brooklynn Delane (Colonial Beach, VA) and Junior Anna Teague (Salisbury, NC)) fell in their match 21-14, 21-14 

Regent will be back in action on Saturday, March 28th when face the host Hornets and Stevenson University.  First serve is at 1:00pm.
