Lynchburg, VA – After earning a couple of program first wins yesterday, the Regent University Beach Volleyball team was prepared to compete in Day Two of the University of Lynchburg Invitational. The Royals were looking to build upon their success and head back to the 757 with some momentum.     

Game One vs Lynchburg 

• Sophomore Alaina Braun-Duin (Stephens City, VA) and Freshman Keira Anderson (Leland, NC) lost 21-13, 21-8  

• Junior Erin Saunders (Danville, VA) and Freshman Rylee Stewart (Newport News, VA) lost 21-11, 22-8  

• Freshman Daily Davis (Bristow, VA) and Freshman Reagan Holestin (Virginia Beach, VA) lost 21-16, 21-18   

• Freshman Annalise Todd (Raleigh, NC) and Senior Zoe Bowers (Buffalo, NY) lost 21-9, 21-17   

• Freshman Brooklynn Delane (Colonial Beach, VA) and Junior Anna Teague (Salisbury, NC)) fell in their match 21-8, 21-9 

Game One vs Stevenson 

• Sophomore Alaina Braun-Duin (Stephens City, VA) and Freshman Keira Anderson (Leland, NC) lost 21-9, 21-18  

• Junior Erin Saunders (Danville, VA) and Freshman Rylee Stewart (Newport News, VA) lost 21-15, 21-12

Regent will be back in action on Friday, April 10th when they travel to Maryland for the Stevenson University Invitational.
