Owings Mills, MD – On Friday afternoon, the Regent University Beach Volleyball team began their final weekend of their inaugural season as they participated in Day One of the Stevenson Invitational.  They were no strangers to today's opponents as they have faced them both multiple times this year.  

Game One vs University of Lynchburg  

• Sophomore Alaina Braun-Duin (Stephens City, VA) and Freshman Keira Anderson (Leland, NC) lost 21-9, 21-14   

• Junior Erin Saunders (Danville, VA) and Freshman Rylee Stewart (Newport News, VA) lost 21-13, 21-8   

• Freshman Daily Davis (Bristow, VA) and Freshman Reagan Holestin (Virginia Beach, VA) lost 21-11, 21-10    

• Freshman Emma Kristiansen (Sparta, NJ) and Freshman Lexie Dennis (Newport News, VA) lost 21-13, 21-9    

• Freshman Annalise Todd (Raleigh, NC) and Senior Zoe Bowers (Buffalo, NY) fell in their match 21-10, 21-11 

Game Two vs Liberty University 

• Sophomore Alaina Braun-Duin (Stephens City, VA) and Freshman Keira Anderson (Leland, NC) lost 21-15, 21-9   

• Junior Erin Saunders (Danville, VA) and Freshman Rylee Stewart (Newport News, VA) lost 21-12, 21-20  

• Freshman Daily Davis (Bristow, VA) and Freshman Reagan Holestin (Virginia Beach, VA) lost 21-10, 21-6    

• Freshman Annalise Todd (Raleigh, NC) and Senior Zoe Bowers (Buffalo, NY) fell in their match 21-17, 21-15 

• Freshman Emma Kristiansen (Sparta, NJ) and Freshman Lexie Dennis (Newport News, VA) lost 21-13, 21-12 

The Royals will be back in action on Saturday, April 11th for Day Two when they face Stevenson University and Southern Virginia University.  First serves are at 10:00am and 2:00pm.
